Well, back after some time, well more than a year. A lot has happened in that time , now to sum it up pretty concrete and short:
~ Let's see... hmmm....
Graduated from "Grafisch Lyseum Rotterdam (the Netherlands)
Undergone a operation on my right eye
Studying on a university
Plays less video games and now reading more comics and manga... and BOOKS (yes, it can happen!)

At the moment I'm studying Communication and Multimedia design, which is course that focusses on Design, App design for program's, web apps, websites and mobile Phone/tablets but overall UI and UX design. It's a really great course and it keeps getting more interesting.

And for the future...

Summer Wars

1 min read
Well one the newest productions of the well known anime studio MADHOUSE, Summer Wars is one of the last full lenght anime movies we got this year. In short the story is about a student, Kenji who stays over a few days with the hectic family of a classmate. And discovers the family warmth that they have. But the world there has developed some sort of avatar system with billions of accounts. And one night Kenji changes this all...

Well the story was awesome, and I mean really awesome. The a times hectic animation and style are really great... this one is certainly on of the better ones I've seen this whole year. From beginning till the end I was like "~Whoaa..... SUGOIII SUGOI!!!!". The whole movie is a MUST WATCH....

Madhouse really did a fantastic job with this movie.... now I only hope the overseas Bluray version come quickly.... can't wait to see soon enough on my tv... :D

Well, this is the last week of homework for a school project, Coloring the last things in Photoshop and Illustrator. Almost watching no Anime series (yes I'm almost in a shock XD), no videogames and almost no time to draw for myself. O Well, almost  Finished now so I hope the best of it.

Last weekend I had some time over (around 3 AM XD) to watch a anime series, I choose Aoi Bangaku. This series really is fantastic, the series is scenes and characters come over very realistically. The dark tone is seen everywhere, from scamming to murder. Also the way the first episode showed the paranoia scene where the main character, at least looks like it get some serious problems in the head is animated fantastically. It me kept interested from the beginning till the end... now up to next episodes...

This new season a lot of new anime series are right about to start. There are some many that I'm wondering what to look. The last season had some good series such as Canaan. Which I was totally hooked on. But for the new season the list certainly looks good. With many new original titles, such as 11Eyes a new series based on a Hgame by Feng. Suprisingly it was good for a first episode, but also the new season of Koihime Musou has began (also based on a Hgame by Feng). The first season this series was good, and it looks like the second season will continue this.

For second the Sacred Blacksmith is surprisingly good, the first episode gave me a feeling like, "this a series I need to watch". The character cast is rather standard, so far but it has something that makes it really good, maybe their personalities? O well, time to see the second episode soon.

And a series that surprised me about how good it is, was Kimi ni Todoke. I didn't knew the series, but after watching the first episode I was like hmmmm.... interesting. The story telling is good, but I like the moments when the main character is puzzled, Production IG (yes from the Ghost in the Shell fame) made this series. Although it's based on a shoujo manga, Production IG did a good job animating the first episode.

And for last (at the moment.... more journals coming when I watched some more of this season) is To Aru Kagaku no Railgun, this sidestory featuring Misaka Mikoto and Kuroko from the Index series return in their own series. the story telling isn't the main point of this one but more the Love attempts of Kuroko. The humor isn't anything new but it's pleasing when your in a bored or want some mindless humor.... it's a funny series. some characters form the original anime make their cameo but further more nothing more or less. A second season of the original would be more interesting though....

O well, for the moment my impression of what coming this new season is that a lot of new a good series have began...  now the only thing I need is time.... ahhhhh~ homework is at the moment more important but sometimes....  ;)

Well, this week I thought about watching some classic movies and started with Batman and Batman Returns. These movies where insane, pure awesomeness from the beginning to the end. The role of Batman in both movies by Micheal Keaton is really great. But the best character so far is still Selina Kyle/Catwoman played by Michelle Pfeiffer, can this role be played better ? I also was impressed by how great this movies where, the setting in both is Awesome just as the storyline.

Then "Back to the Future" this movie still is one my favorites, the characters and cast are fantastic. From the beginning till the end of the last movie. It's still very fun to see how they thought about the future in the second movie. With all the hover-boards and holographic adverts in the mall. But the theme "Time-traveling" is still the main part that's been worked out pretty good in all the three movies, and the car... well you've got to love the Delorean DMC-12 ;)

So at school we need have a some kind of exam project where we need to work with the subject Movies and Art. So the best thing about it will be the need to watch some movies since I need to illustrate some movie classics, well up to some more movies this week.....

Planned to watch this week:

Batman & Robin
Batman Begins
Back to the Future 2
Akira
Ghost in the Shell
Blood the Last Vampire
Starwars ~ The Empire Strikes Back (Love the Shin-Chan Parody of this movie title o/)

Well then need to see which one I will look next week...

(need to visit the cinema sometime soon to watch Nine which looks fantastic, nice setting and animation.... sack figures are great... Little Big Planet anyone ?! o.o')
